Gene Marbach has nearly 30 years experience in investor relations and corporate
communications.

Gene has counseled clients on overall corporate positioning, media relations,
public and investor relations, initial public offerings, crisis communications,
litigation publicity and employee communications.

Prior to joining Makovsky + Company, Gene was with Ketchum Public Relations
where he managed investor relations campaigns for companies such as Lucent
Technologies, GTE, Frontier Telephone, First Brands Corp., The Wackenhut Corporation,

to counseling management on traditional investor relations issues, Gene was
called upon to advise senior management on matters such as crisis communications,
capital formation, exchange listings, merger and acquisition programs, corporate
governance, and takeover defenses.

Gene began his career as a reporter with The Gallagher Report, a
weekly newsletter for executives in marketing, advertising and media.  When
he left the Report in 1983, he was the News Editor.

He is a magna cum laude graduate of Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University
of New York.
